EnGenius Enhances Capabilities of Long-Range DuraFon PRO Industrial Cordless Phone System by implementing TAP way back in 2013.

DURAFON system supports TAP messaging from nurse-call systems. Avoid the confusion of the middle man by transmitting call needs directly from patients’ rooms to their attending nurse. Working in conjunction with call buttons, the TAP device allows for quicker responses and quieter atmospheres.

Operating on the DuraFon PRO Base Unit (sold separately) that has a serial (RS-232) cable, sending text messages directly to pagers or laptops. As soon as a text for assistance is received, the appropriate staff member can respond to patient needs, including emergencies.

This is only available on the Durafon PRO model.
