You would like to block users behind your EnGenius router from accessing Facebook. You will notice that setting the parental control on the router to block the URL www.facebook.com or keyword “facebook” works when accessing Facebook via the URL http://www.facebook.com but not when accessing using the URL https://www.facebook.com.

Most, if not all home routers including all EnGenius routers, cannot block HTTPS secured websites. This is because HTTPS encrypts the URL name so it is not recognized by the router.
