WDS (Point to Point), Unable to Ping
WDS (Point to Point), Unable to Ping
Updated over 2 years ago

Scenario: A pair of ENH202 in WDS Bridge are unable to connect to each other. Both configured in WDS bridge mode. Each is mounted on top of a building and they are 1000ft apart with clear line-of-sight (LOS). The customer has input the correct wireless mac addresses on the WDS link settings of each ENH202, and they both have static IP addresses that are in the same subnet. Both ENH202 have the channel HT mode to 20MHz only, and both are set to channel 6. Both ENH202s are unable to ping each other.

Fix: The fix is simple. Set the pair of ENH202s to the same country/region, then they should be able to ping each other and allow traffic to pass through.
