The ENH500 only operates in the 5 GHz band unlike the EOC5611P, which can be fitted with an external 2.4 GHz antenna and set to broadcast as an 802.11 b/g access point.

The EOC5611P can also operate in the 5 GHz band. Set the antenna switch to "internal" and set the wireless mode to 802.11a. Doing so will allow the EOC5611P to broadcast in the 5 GHz band using its internal 5 GHz antenna. It is also possible to use an external 5 GHz antenna and set the wireless mode to 802.11a if using an external antenna is preferred. Please take care to install the antenna to the correct antenna connector on the EOC5611P.
