I exported a backup configuration file from my EAP1750H on my Mac and copied it over to a USB flashdrive. Using another computer, I tried to upload the backup configuration file to another EAP1750H without success.

The backup configuration file when exported from the EAP1750H has the .gz file extension as it is a GZIP compressed file. If Safari web browser on a Mac computer is used when exporting the backup configuration file from and EAP1750H, it will automatically extract the configuration from the .gz file resulting in a larger file with a .tar file extension which cannot be uploaded directly to the EAP1750H using the configuration upload option on its GUI.

Safari can be set to not automatically open .gz files. On Safari Preferences, go to the General tab and disable the “Open “safe” files after downloading” option.
